The new lighting at Holy Trinity Church, Waterhead is a simple combination of elegance and practicality.
The church has been lit with pendants throughout almost all of its history. The new scheme follows this precedent; replacing small, underpowered domestic looking shades with larger, more effective Victorian bowls.
The new fittings, suspended from the original lighting brackets provide a generous light across the nave and aisles throughout the entire length of the church; they also house uplights.
Control is via a simple preset system that allows different levels of illumination to be set at the front, centre and rear of the church.
Additional spotlights are used to light the nave altar and chancel step providing subtle emphasis for services and community events.
